Chandler Skate park at Snedigar Sports Complex opened to the public in March 2000. The Chandler Skate Park has since earned a stellar reputation that now attracts some of the best skateboarders in the world to South Chandler. The spacious 35,000 square-foot facility has been designed for skaters of every ability. The facility is a free, non-supervised skate park for use by skateboarders and in-line skaters.
Amenities include concrete bowls, decks, blocks, and metal rails, as well as a ramada and playground adjacent to the Skate Park. Summer hours are 7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Snedigar Sports Complex is a 90-acre sports complex located in South Chandler, south of Ocotillo Road. Other amenities in the complex include two professional-sized baseball fields, four softball fields, four Little League baseball fields, 12 soccer fields, the Chandler skate park, a dog park, a full-sized cricket field, and a 9,000-square-foot recreation center.
The center also provides a variety of classes and programs, special events, and other services such as ball field/light and pavilion rentals to the citizens of Chandler. The rec center has rental space for meetings, special events, and other activities.
The facility is closed until 3 p.m. on the last Wednesday of every month for maintenance and repairs. Chandler Skate Park at Snedigar Sports Complex is located at 4500 S. Basha Rd., Chandler.
