Wild Horse Pass Motor Sports Park is a premier and historic national sports venue that has been home to NHRA-sanctioned National Events since its opening in 1983.Now is the time to discover how you can put your pedal to the metal and charge down the drag strip. This event is open to the public and spectators are always welcome. Admission is $15 and kids under 12 are free. A 10 MPH speed limit all around the venue is enforced as there are many people and children in the area.
Driver must have a valid and current state or government-issued driver’s license beyond learner’s permit level, or an NHRA competition license of the appropriate category.
Every driver must be properly attired from a fire-safety viewpoint. This includes full-length pants, short- or long-sleeved shirt, closed shoes, and socks. No shorts, no tank tops, no open-toe or open-heel shoes or sandals. Synthetic fabrics are not recommended as they tend to melt in a fire and increase the severity of any burns. If your car runs quicker than 11.50 seconds in the quarter mile, you are required to wear an SFI spec 3.2A/1 fire jacket. If your car is non-OEM (that is, aftermarket) turbocharged, supercharged, or nitrous equipped and runs quicker than 14.0 seconds, you also must wear an SFI spec 3.2A/1 jacket.
